Penvose Farm Terms & Conditions
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FULLY READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE CONDITIONS OF BOOKING.
- Arrival and departure times
1.1. Camping and Touring Pitches are available from 12 midday on arrival. All pitches must be vacated by 11am on departure.
1.2. Static Caravans and Holiday Barns are available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on departure.
- Late arrivals
2.1. If you expect to arrive after 6pm please let us know by calling 01637 860277.
2.2. Unless previously notified we regret that we can only hold your accommodation/pitch until 12 midday on the day after your holiday was due to start. In the event of a “no show” we will treat your booking as cancelled.
- Payment for your holiday
3.1. For all types of accommodation/pitch a 1/3 of your total stay is required as a deposit and the remainder 9 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made 9 weeks or less prior to the arrival date will require payment in full. Once payment is received your accommodation/pitch is secured.
3.2. For Seasonal Pitches we use a billing system and will send invoices out, you will need to click on pay now on the invoice and pay by card please. Once your 20% non-refundable deposit payment is received your pitch is secured for the season. All pitches must be paid for in full prior to opening for the season. Any pitch not paid for in full prior to opening will result in the touring caravan being removed from pitch / not sited.
3.3. It is not possible to pay storage and leave tourers on pitch once the campsite opens.
- Cancelled bookings
4.1. If a booking is cancelled the deposit will be withheld unless in exceptional circumstances. Cancellation of your booking for any reason must be notified to us in writing within seven days of the event. Any refund made will be less administration costs of £20.00.
4.2. Please note our charge for your accommodation is based on the number of persons at the time of booking and refunds cannot be given for a change of numbers or if any of your party leave early.
- Insurance
5.1 Penvose Farm will not be liable to any persons staying at the site for any personal injury (fatal or non fatal). Nor shall they be liable for any injury, loss or damage to any property including motor vehicles, personal effects or luggage, howsoever caused or sustained. All personal property is left at our own risk. Awnings are left up at owners risk, no damage will be covered by the site owner, and you are responsible for taking out your own insurance.
5.2. For all touring caravans we require that you take out your own insurance.
5.3. We recommend you take out your own travel/holiday insurance.
- Number in your party
6.1. It is a condition of your booking that the total in your party does not exceed the confirmed numbers.

6.3. No sub-letting is aloud & must not be stayed in permanently.
- Bookings by young persons and groups
7.1. We are couples and families orientated and are not able to take bookings from persons under 21yrs.
7.2. Group bookings can sometimes be made subject to management discretion and restrictions will apply.
- Children
8.1. We want your children to be happy and most importantly safe so insist that all under 16yrs of age must be supervised at all times by an adult with parental responsibility.
- Dogs
9.1. Dogs are never allowed to be left unattended at any time and cannot be left on your pitch alone.
9.2. Dogs must also be on a lead. All fouling must be cleaned up & disposed of in dog waste bins.
9.3. There is a maximum of two per pitch.
- Maintaining accommodation and pitches
10.1. We ask that all guests respectively look after accommodation and the area surrounding. In situations where this hasn’t been followed a fee may be issued to you on departure.
10.2. We also require that all tourers and surrounding pitch areas are clean and respectful. Please ensure tourers are washed and not green.
- Barbeques
11.1. This is allowed but we ask that they are off the ground, common sense applies and they are fully extinguished after use.
11.2. Disposable barbeques are no longer allowed.
- Firepits and Burning Wood
12.1. This is allowed but we ask that only seasoned wood should be used, of which we do sell if required on arrival.
12.2. No tanalised or offcuts to be used.
12.3. For everyone’s safety firepits should be fully extinguished before left unattended and therefore burning of wood should be stopped within a reasonable hour before hours of darkness.
- Unreasonable behaviour or nuisance
13.1. We have always maintained a friendly family site and would like to think that noise is kept to a reasonable level with consideration given to others at all times. If this does not occur, regretfully we may ask you to leave.
13.2. Music is not permitted on site after 10:30pm.
